Read Deut. 18:21, 22 and Isa. 8:20 for this lesson.
At 18 years old, Malachi Love-Robinson passed himself off as a doctor. He had no medical education or license to practice medicine, but he deceived a lot of people into thinking he did. Unfortunately, one of his patients was an undercover police officer. They found out what he was up to and arrested him for practicing medicine without a license.
You wouldn’t trust someone you knew was not a real doctor, would you? Of course not. But there are a lot of people who are going to put their trust in a group just as fake.
Remember that clash of clans I told you was coming? Before Jesus returns to the earth, Satan is going to send a group of highly skilled posers passing themselves off as God’s prophets. Together, they’re going to deceive billions of people into believing that they are.
But before this happens, you need to know more ways to tell them apart from the real prophets. We talked about three ways in our last lesson. Read the False Prophet Test below to get some more info about them. If you want the full list, check out the Adult Lesson on this.
If you wouldn’t trust a fake doctor, you shouldn’t trust a fake prophet. Satan is going to try every trick in his book to get you to, but if you let God help you learn how to tell the difference, you won’t listen to Satan’s poser prophets.
God’s getting ready for this clash, too. He’s getting His prophets ready before these posers lead His people astray. What exactly is He doing? Check us out next week to find out!
